Philanthropy

Our national philanthropy is Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The money raised and donated by our chapter is used locally to support one of the 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide. In total, Phi Mu has contributed over eight million dollars, and countless hours, improving the quality of life for children throughout the country.

With events such as ELONTHON, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Frats at Bat, and Bonnamu, we are committed to raising money to support the children at CMN hospitals locally and nationally. This year alone, we have raised over $18,000 from ELONTHON alone and over $4,000 at Breakfast at Tiffany’s! Gamma Nu also participates in profit shares with local restaurants to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network.

We also have the amazing opportunity to tour Duke Children’s Hospital to see how our hard work and donations have paid off. Throughout the semester, a group of women head down to Durham to tour the hospital and learn more about the children who are being treated in the hospital and the facilities that are available to them.
